We’re a creative agency that builds its own tools. Not with a 20-person engineering team and Jira boards, but with a small team, AI coding tools, and the belief that one person with the right setup can outperform entire departments. We don’t care if you work with Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor. The main thing is that AI-powered development isn’t an experiment for you—it’s your normal way of working.

Our AI & Innovation Team has built a complete product suite: Tool Hub with Microsoft SSO, AI image generation, social media analytics, survey infrastructure, gamification system, automation pipelines. All built by a handful of people who think in terminals, not in tickets.

But here’s the thing: We’re not looking for a pure coder. We’re looking for someone who also understands why we’re building all of this. Someone who sits in an agency and gets why the art director is frustrated and what we could build to address it. Someone who’s excited to stand in front of a room full of creatives and show what AI can already do today. Someone who doesn’t just build tools, but helps bring an entire agency into the AI era.

You've come to the right place if you...

You currently have several AI coding sessions open at the same time and know exactly what’s happening in each one.
You understand that “orchestration” isn’t just a buzzword, but rather how you get a multi-agent system to build a feature while you’re reviewing the last one.
Can look at an existing Next.js/TypeScript/Azure codebase and actually understand what’s going on, not just prompt your way through it.
Look forward to building tools for real users, not abstract “platforms.”
Enjoy leading a workshop just as much as working at your terminal.
You know the feeling of hearing a pain point in a meeting and immediately having a solution in mind.

Those are you tasks:

Maintain and expand our existing toolset (Next.js, Azure, PostgreSQL, Docker)
Build new internal AI tools for a 100-person creative agency
Manage cloud infrastructure, API integrations (Meta, TikTok, various AI providers), and deployment pipelines
Help shape our AI vision: What should we build next? What does the agency need? Where is the journey headed?
Get colleagues on board: workshops, demos, spontaneous “check this out” moments at the desk
Work autonomously. No one here will create a Jira ticket for you. You see a problem, you build the solution

You should bring:

You have a mental model of software architecture, data models, and deployment.
You use AI tools natively in your development workflow, regardless of which ones.
You stay up to date. If a new model or tool comes out and you haven’t tried it within 48 hours, we probably aren’t a good fit.
You’re able and willing to work with people who aren’t technical, and you find that enriching, not annoying.
You’re based in Hamburg, speak German at a native level, and English at a business-proficient level.
